QU’s Master of Business Administration Rises in QS World University Rankings

Doha, The College of Business and Economics at Qatar University (QU) announced that its Master of Business Administration program has jumped six positions in the QS World University Rankings for 2024, ranking 94th globally while ranking 2nd in the Middle East and Africa region for the second year in a row.

This marks the highest ranking that the program has achieved, which furthermore places the program as one the best MBA programs in the Middle East and Africa region.

For the second year in a row, the MBA program maintained its 2nd place in the QS Middle East and Africa rankings for the year 2024, which affirms its high quality and its commitment to providing students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the global business world.

Dean of QU's College of Business and Economics Prof. Rana Sobh said that this reflects the continuous improvement in the quality of education and academic achievement of the college, especially since it includes a distinguished group of senior researchers and competent professors who strive to provide creative, comprehensive and influential educational experiences for the students.

She pointed out that the Master of Business Administration program offered by the College of Business and Economics at QU is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). It was established in 2002 and has witnessed strong growth and continuous progress to achieve the educational objectives of the program.

The overall goal of the MBA program is to train students in decision making, provide them with analytical tools that may help solve complex decision-making situations within organizations and prepare them to deal with uncertain business environments, she explained.

All programs of the College of Business and Economics at QU have been accredited by the AACSB, which is the premier accrediting body for business schools in the world that provides scientific and reliable affirmation that reflects the quality and standards of the college's educational programs.
