Palestinian Foreign Ministry Says Impunity Condones Israel to Build Settlement in West Bank

Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the far-right settlers' desecration of the Palestinian occupied territories the last one was the occupation's authorities' allowing settlers to establish random settlement outposts in Masafer Yatta, southern district of Hebron after endorsing the eviction of the original Palestinian citizens from these outposts under the pretext that they are designated for military trainings and fire zones.

Such violations are an outright and outrageous exchange of roles between the Israeli occupation army and settlers in assaulting on the Palestinian people in pursuit of annexing the West Bank, Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a press statement Saturday.

It stressed that all these practices come through a clear political support from the Israeli government, along with its various arms, emphasizing that failure of international accountability for the occupation state over its violations and crimes, including settlers' crimes and ethnic cleansing condones the Israeli government to continue further with its actions to annex the West Bank.

Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the UN Security Council to take further action to ensure implementation of the resolution No. 2334, calling on the US Administration to shoulder its responsibilities and translate its stance of rejecting the settlement into practical steps that compel the occupation state to halt all forms of settlement.
