B’Tselem calls on Israel to stop the war and accept a prisoner exchange deal

The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in Israel "B'Tselem" called on Israel to adhere to the call of the International Criminal Court and stop the war in the Gaza Strip. The center said in a statement: Israel has proven in the past that the only way it operates in the Gaza Strip involves killing civilians and destroying livelihoods. Therefore, it must immediately stop fighting, because it will inevitably cause more victims. The Center considered the criminal decision to be a serious step on the part of the countries of the world regarding the unbearable situation of Israeli violence that has led, so far, to an unfathomable number of victims and to a humanitarian catastrophe of enormous proportions. The statement said: 'It is time to understand that the use of violence and the devaluation of human life constitute two essential components of the Israeli apartheid system between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, the continued existence of which will inevitably lead to more violence and mo re victims - Palestinians and Israelis. The only way To ensure a safe life for all of us is to end apartheid. He continued: "In the first and immediate stage, Israel must end the war and return all the kidnapped people, within the framework of an exchange deal Source: Maan News Agency
