Industry Minister participates in first Gulf industrial exhibition

Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, participated in the opening of the first Gulf industrial exhibition, on the sidelines of the 51st Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Industrial Committee meeting.

The minister affirmed that achieving comprehensive industrial development in the GCC would involve enhancing production efficiency, raising the quality of the industrial sector's outputs, resulting in economic development and increased GDP contribution, as well as create investment opportunities.

Dr. Saleh bin Said Masan, Undersecretary for Commerce and Industry Ministry in Oman, noted the importance of the exhibition in its first edition, and the role of Gulf inventors and factories in developing the GCC industrial sector.

During the event, Gulf inventors and factories were honoured for their efforts, including a number of Bahraini factories participating in the exhibition (J.A.Zayani & Sons, Crown Industries B.S.C.(C). Factory, Silent Power Renewable Energy, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. , and KKC Industry).
