Health Ministry Undersecretary receives Gulf Health Council Director General

Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea, the Undersecretary of the Health Ministry, received Sulaiman Saleh Al Dakhil, Director General of the Gulf Health Council.

The meeting discussed health-related topics, including action plans for developing the sector while keeping up with health developments at the regional and global levels.

The undersecretary commended council's efforts within the Gulf action system to promote the health sector.

According to Al Manea, the council's plans and programmes have contributed to achieving many of the council's desired goals and aspirations for health improvement, as well as developing work mechanisms and a range of awareness and preventive initiatives that keep up with the current and future developments in disease surveillance, response and control.

Al Dakhil praised Bahrain's efforts to boost the health sector in the Gulf region through a variety of programmes, campaigns, exchanging expertise and unified policies and procedures.
