Final qualifications of ‘HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Quran Award’ begin on Saturday

The final qualifications of the third edition of the “His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Award” will kick start on Saturday, April 1.

The organising committee said that preparations are in full swing to hold the final qualifications next week at the Abdulrahman bin Kanoo Mosque in Hamad Town for males and Basma Centre for Quran Memorisation in Hamad Town for females, adding that it has already started receiving contestants.

The committee indicated that as many as 800 male and female contestants had participated in the preliminary qualifiers of the award’s five categories.

Held under the patronage of Al Noor Charity Welfare Society Honorary Chairperson, Her Highness Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the competition is organised by the Al Noor Charity Welfare Society for the third straight year.

The organising committee expressed pride in the Al Noor Charity Welfare Society’s organisation of the great award carrying the name of the late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, wishing everyone success.
