Mohammed Salah opened the scoring for the Reds in the 17th minute.
After that, the home side was in full control of the game with Julian Alvarez leveling the game in the 27th minute.
In the second half, Kevin De Bruyne put City ahead in the 46th minute, then Ilkay Gundogan netted the third for home side in the 53rd minute.
Jack Grealish scored the fourth goal for Manchester City in the 74th minute.
City raised their tally to 64 points, five points behind league leaders Arsenal.
