Bahrain parliamentary delegation participates in GCC Parliamentary Coordination and Foreign Relations Committee

Manama, Bahrain's parliamentary delegation participated in the remote meeting of the 18th Parliamentary Coordination and Foreign Relations Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The delegation was headed by Abdulrahman Mohammed Jamsheer, Member of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee of the Shura Council, and Khalid Saleh Buenq, Member of the Council of Representatives, as representatives of the Coordination and Foreign Relations Committee of the GCC countries. The committee discussed The General Secretariat's memorandum on strengthening cooperation with the parliaments of Latin American and Caribbean countries, and the memorandum on strengthening Gulf parliamentary relations with the European Parliament. The Minister of Interior participates in holding the banner of reconciliation between the Al-Masimi and Al-Dabai families in Nablus Governorate

Nablus - Ma'an - Interior Minister, Major General Ziad Hab Al-Rih, participated today in holding the tribal reconciliation banner between the Al-Masimi and Al-Dab'i families in Nablus Governorate, in the presence of Nablus Governor Ghassan Daghlas, Central Committee member Mohammed Al-Madani, directors and representatives of the security establishment, a number of dignitaries and national figures, and a number of members of the Revolutionary and Regional Councils, under the supervision of the Tribal Department and the Tribal and Reform Committee for Blood Money Cases. Major General Hab Al-Reeh conveyed the greetings of President Mahmoud Abbas and the Prime Minister to the attendees, stressing the need to enhance the culture of civil peace among the components of our people, establish a culture of dialogue, and address problems in accordance with law and order, calling for these efforts to represent a new start towards unity of feelings and unity of society, praising all efforts by various institutions and re formers in order to reconcile. For their part, the family representatives stressed the completion of the reconciliation and turning the page on the past and beginning a page of forgiveness and tolerance, thanking all the efforts made for reform and tolerance to end the problems between citizens, and everyone who contributed to this achievement between the families. 293 days of war on Palestine

Gaza - Ma'an - Israeli warplanes continued their bombardment of various areas in the Gaza Strip on the 293rd day of the war, leaving a large number of martyrs and wounded. The Israeli occupation committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 55 martyrs and 110 wounded arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours. The death toll from the Israeli aggression rose to 39,145 martyrs and 90,258 wounded since October 7. The occupation army continues its ground invasion of the eastern villages of Khan Yunis for the fourth consecutive day, coinciding with continuous air strikes and artillery shelling. The occupation forces bombed the house of the Al-Najjar family in the Ma'an area, south of Khan Yunis, which resulted in the martyrdom of four citizens, while five others were martyred in a bombing that targeted a car belonging to the electricity company. A number of citizens were martyred by sniper fire near Bani Suhaila roundabout, east of Khan Yunis, as the occupation army continues to destroy residential areas. In a related context, the occupation army imposes a closure on the city of Rafah by deploying tanks on the dividing line between Rafah and Khan Yunis. Paramedics were able to retrieve the bodies of four citizens from the city. The occupation army continues to destroy homes west of Rafah and prevents people from returning to them. Central Gaza Strip: A citizen was martyred in a bombing that targeted the north of Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. The Israeli artillery bombed the vicinity of the Al-Bureij Services Club in "Block 12" in the central Gaza Strip. Seven citizens were injured when the occupation bombed th e Abu Gharqoud family home near the entrance to Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip. Gaza and the North: Four martyrs were killed and 12 others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a house for the Al-Nimr family in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City. A number of citizens were injured in the bombing of a residential apartment for the Abu Jiab family in the Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City. Six were injured in the occupation's bombing of a house for the Al-Faluji family in the Al-Shaaf area in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. King of Jordan Dissolves Parliament in Preparation for Elections

Jordan's King Abdullah II issued Thursday a decision to dissolve the House of Representatives, after the end of the mandate of its members, in preparation for holding the next parliamentary elections on Sep 10. Last April, King Abdullah II issued a decision to hold House of Representatives elections on Sep. 10, which are held every four years. Jordanians will choose their representatives in the 20th Parliament in accordance with the new electoral law, which increased the number of members of the House of Representatives from 130 to 138 representatives, of which 41 seats were allocated to parties.
