Three Israeli soldiers injured in a heroic resistance operation east of Qalqilya

Occupied Jerusalem, Three Israeli occupation soldiers were injured on Thursday in a heroic operation by the Palestinian resistance east of Qalqilya city in the West Bank in response to the occupation's ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people. Palestinian media reported that resistance fighters opened fire on occupation soldiers in Nabi Elias village, east of Qalqilya, wounding 3 of them before the perpetrators of the operation were able to withdraw from the place. Following the heroic operation, the occupation forces stormed a number of towns and villages east of Qalqilya and south of Tulkarm and reinforced their presence in the area, and forced shop owners to close their shops. Arab League Welcomes Yemeni Parties’ Agreement on Economic De-escalation

The Arab League has welcomed the announcement issued by the Office of the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Yemen, regarding the agreement between the Yemeni government and the Houthis on measures to de-escalate the situation in the banking sector and Yemeni Airlines. Spokesman for the Secretary-General of the Arab League Jamal Rushdi, explained in a statement Thursday that the agreed measures would alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people, reduce escalation and improve conditions for the parties to resume political and diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching a peaceful political solution to the Yemeni crisis. Rushdi added that the agreements could represent an important step towards building confidence if the Houthi party shows the necessary commitment to de-escalation and the sincere intention to engage in a political process, based on the three known references, leading to ending the Yemeni conflict that has been ongoing for more than ten years. Death Toll from Ethiopia Landslide Rises to 257

Deaths toll from the landslides in Ethiopia has risen to 257, but the final death toll is expected to be 500, according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). The UN agency released the figures on Thursday after the landslides in the mountainous Gofa zone in southern Ethiopia, the first triggered by heavy rains on Monday, the second engulfing those who had gathered to rescue people. Hundreds of people combed through red mud at the scene of the disaster in the Kencho Shacha locality, searching for survivors of the deadliest landslide recorded in Africas second most populous country. "More than 15,000 affected people need to be evacuated," OCHA said. The figures included at least 1,320 children as well as 5,293 pregnant women and new mothers. The state-run Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) reported that most of those killed were buried after they went to help the inhabitants of a house hit by an initial landslide. Earthquake of 5.7 Magnitude Strikes Kermadec Islands Off New Zealand Coast

An earthquake measuring 5.7 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Thursday the Kermadec Islands off the coast of New Zealand. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km, while no tsunami warnings were issued. There have been no reports of human losses or material damage as a result of the earthquake so far. Lebanese resistance targets three Israeli enemy sites

Beirut, The Lebanese National Resistance announced on Thursday that it targeted several sites of Israeli enemy, achieving direct hits. The resistance said in a statement that 'in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, our fighters targeted the Hanita site of Israeli enemy at dawn today with artillery shells, hitting it directly. Day 293 of Genocide: Several Palestinians killed by Israeli bombing in Gaza

A number of Palestinians were killed and injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation bombing of the Gaza Strip for the 293rd day in a row. Medical sources reported that fiour citizens were killed and others were injured, including children and women, as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City. A number of citizens were also injured as a result of the occupation bombing of a residential apartment owned by Abu Jiab family in al-Shati Camp, west of Gaza City. In the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, seven citizens, most of them children, were injured as a result of the occupation bombing a house belonging to Abu Gharqud family near the entrance to the camp. In Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, occupation tanks fired machine guns at citizens' homes in the eastern areas of the neighborhood. In the city of Khan Yunis, the occupation warplanes launched two raids on the town of Al-Qarara, north of the city, at a time when i nformed sources in Gaza spoke of the Israeli occupation forces besieging a house that had 10 people, including women and children, in the town. The Palestinian death toll from Israel's deadly aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 2023, has now surged to 39,145, medical sources confirmed on Wednesday.
