4.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Southern Turkiye

An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale took place today in southern Turkiye.

Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority said the earthquake occurred at a depth of 15 kilometers below the surface of the earth.

On Feb. 6, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 struck southern Turkiye and northern Syria, followed by thousands of violent aftershocks killing tens of thousands of people and leaving huge material damage.
