Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group (YBA Kanoo) made a contribution to support planting trees in the Zallaq Health Centre in the Southern Governorate, as part of the second phase of the National Afforestation Campaign (Forever Green).
The National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) in cooperation with the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry, and the Supreme Council for the Environment today planted trees in the health centre.
Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, NIAD Secretary General, was present.
Local fruit trees like lemon, pomegranate and mango trees will be blooming in the outdoor spaces of the Zallaq Health Center.
This contribution came from YBA Kanoo, in line with the ongoing partnership between public and private sectors in environmental projects that aim to increase green spaces and support national plans to reach zero neutrality by 2060.
