The United States of America, Britain, France and China are preparing to evacuate their citizens from Sudan during the next few hours.
A statement by the Office of the Official Spokesman for the Sudanese Armed Forces stated that President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan had received calls from heads of several countries requesting to facilitate and guarantee the evacuation of their nationals and diplomatic missions from the country, and Al-Burhan agreed to provide the necessary assistance to secure it for different countries.
The statement added that the process of evacuating all missions whose countries request this is expected to begin in the coming hours. The United States, Britain, France and China will evacuate their diplomats and nationals by military transport aircraft belonging to their armed forces from Khartoum, and it is expected to start immediately, it added.
