UNICEF Condemns Abduction of 100 Students in Nigeria

New York, April 16 (QNA) – The United Nations Children’s Fund
(UNICEF) has called for the immediate and unconditional release of
100 school girls abducted from their hostel on Monday in Chibok,
Borno.
In a statement in Abuja on Wednesday UNICEF condemned the abduction
by gunmen and expressed deep concern about the persistent trend of
attacks on innocent children.
The UN agency recalled that in February unidentified gunmen killed
53 school children of the Federal Government College, Buni Yadi in
Yobe. (QNA)
