Kyiv, The Ukrainian army announced on Tuesday that 528,620 Russian soldiers have been killed since the start of the Russian military operation. According to a statement of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia lost 7,974 tanks, 15,307 armored vehicles, 13,959 artillery systems, 1,104 multiple-launch missile systems, 853 air defense systems, 2,297 cruise missiles, 359 fighter jets, 326 choppers, and 28 warships. Additionally, 2,344 special equipment, one submarine, 18,967 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 11,187 drones were destroyed, the statement added. Since the start of the military operation in Ukraine in 2022, there have been conflicting reports about the extent of losses of both sides.
