HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today in Cairo with HE Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt Sameh Shokri.
The meeting dealt with reviewing the positive developments in bilateral ties, following the signing of Al-Ula declaration in January, and stressed the importance of building on this important step by taking further measures to enhance the positive momentum in the coming period, and seize the large economic and investment opportunities available in the two countries, to achieve their interests.
The meeting also dealt with reviewing ways to enhance mechanisms of joint Arab work, given the State of Qatar is presiding over the Arab League, in addition to discussing the two countries’ positions regarding regional issues, particularly developments related to the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Qatar’s thanks to the Arab Republic of Egypt’s efforts in reaching a ceasefire in Gaza.
