Progressive Socialist Party Chief, MP Taymour Jumblatt, stressed "the need to achieve justice in the port explosion dossier, which we will only reach by resuming judicial investigations, addressing problems, and stopping political interference that hinders revealing the whole truth." On the third anniversary of the "national and human tragedy" that occurred on August 4, Jumblatt expressed solidarity with the families of the victims, the wounded, and those affected, recalling in this regard "the party's position in calling for the formation of an international investigation committee to find out the reasons for the explosion and the side responsible for bringing the ammonium nitrate into the port..." This came in an issued statement on the sidelines of Jumblatt's meetings at Al-Mukhtara Palace today. The PSP Chief also marked the 22-year anniversary of the reconciliation of the mountain, stressing "adherence to it and providing the elements for its stability and strengthening its development, so that it remains steadfast in its effects in a way that confirms the history and future of the Lebanese mountain."
