Syria, Oman to boost cooperation in health field

The Minister of Health Hassan al-Ghabbash discussed with Member of the State Council, founder of Dar Al Atta’a Association and Chairperson of its Board, Maryam bint Issa Al-Zadjali, and the accompanying delegation enhancing bilateral cooperation in the health field.

Minister Ghabbash stressed, during the meeting held Sunday, the importance of boosting the bilateral cooperation to improve the healthcare services in the country, particularly by obtaining and rehabilitating medical equipment.

The Minister also underscored the deep-rooted ties between Syria and Oman, hailing Oman’s support to Syria in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake.

For her part, the Chairperson of Dar Al Atta’a Association expressed keenness to increase the Association’s cooperation with the Syrian side and rehabilitate the Syrian health facilities damaged by war or the catastrophic earthquake.

Her honor emphasized identifying the needs of Syria’s health sector through cooperation with the Omani Organization for Charitable Works.
