Sudanese Army Announces Breaches of 72-Hour Truce

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) said that it recorded several breaches of the 72-hour ceasefire between its forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Despite the 72-hour truce agreed upon by SAF and RSF, the armed forces have recorded many violations since the early hours of Tuesday morning, the SAF spokesperson said in a statement on Facebook.

The military spokesperson stated that the breaches included the RSF movement inside and outside Khartoum and the attempt to occupy sites and restrict the movement of citizens.

He also indicated that there is a heavy movement of varying groups towards the Al Jili oil refinery to use the truce in controlling the refinery to create a fuel-supply crisis throughout the country.
