Ramallah - Together - In the midst of the grave events facing the Palestinian people and their children in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and 180 days after the barbaric war on the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, Hashem directed the children of the Palestinian Child Arts Center in Palestine and on the occasion of Palestinian Children's Day and International Solidarity Day. With the children of Palestine, which falls on April 5, is a call for life to the children of the world, to people of living conscience, and to all governments and international organizations concerned with children's rights. The following is the text of the statement, from the children of Palestine to all the children of the world: To every living conscience who believes in human freedom and rights, to all governments and international organizations concerned with children's rights. We are the children of Palestine, the makers of the coming future and the hope of tomorrow, who long to live in freedom, dignity and peace in our dear homeland, Palestine. We are the children of Palestine who have been deprived of the meaning of childhood and who lack security, safety, peace and protection and who dream of a better tomorrow and a decent life far from the scourge of wars, violence, destruction, killing, displacement and deprivation of justice and peace. We appeal to the international community, and we appeal to you, peoples, governments, and international organizations concerned with human rights and children's rights, to intervene to stop the brutal practices carried out by the occupation against the Palestinian people, especially what we children are subjected to in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, where more than 14,000 children were killed and thousands injured, and it is still being used. Against us is a huge military force that includes all types of weapons. This force is against our defenseless Palestinian people, where thousands were killed and thousands wounded. Homes, educational institutions, health institutions, ho spitals, universities, mosques, churches, cultural institutions and public libraries were demolished, citizens were deported from their homes, crops were destroyed, and thousands of innocent children were killed. The Israeli occupation violated all conventions, customs, divine laws, and international and humanitarian laws related to the protection of civilians in times of war, especially the rights of children and their protection during conflicts and wars. Hence, we call on the international community and its various bodies to work on the following: 1- Immediately stop the war waged by the occupation against the Palestinian people and their children so that the children can return to their schools and educational institutions and live in peace. 2- We demand international protection for children and the application of conventions and laws related to the protection of civilians and children in times of war. 3- We demand an end to the occupation of our Palestinian land and the implementation of United Nati ons resolutions. 4- We demand an end to the policy of starvation and the blockade of medical supplies, relief materials, and fuel. 5- The right to live in a free, independent, and safe homeland is a right for us, the children of Palestine, so that we can live like the rest of the children of the world, and we call on the international community to intervene to establish the Palestinian state, as it is the homeland for the people.
