Stage set for Qatar Classic 2018

Doha, The Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation has completed its arrangements for hosting the 2018 edition of Qatar Classic.

The online sales of tickets for the Qatar Classic will begin on Tuesday, October 9, 2018.

Fans can now purchase tickets for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final of the prestigious squash event by visiting

Tickets will also be available onsite at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex, the venue of the event, from October 17.

The world's best players including the top 30 are participating in the tournament which will be held from October 27 to November 2.

Players that will be on parade include three-time winner and defending champion Mohammed El Shorbagy of Egypt, world No.2 Ali Farag of Egypt, Marwan ElShorbagy, Germany's Simon Rosner, Colombia's Miguel Angel Rodriguez and Gregory Gaultier of France.

Qatar's challenge will be led by Abdullah Mohamed al-Tamimi, the world No. 28, who broke into the world's top 30 rankings after his remarkable victory at the $35,000 Malaysian Open title in July.
