Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, met with Mohamed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, Secretary General of the Council.
During the meeting, Al Musallam affirmed that the royal speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the inauguration of the third session of the sixth legislative term serves as a guiding framework for Team Bahrain in the coming phase.
He commended the key themes and royal directives in the speech and expressed appreciation for the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in fostering effective cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities to achieve national goals.
The Speaker also extended his appreciation to the General Secretariat and other relevant entities for their efforts in organising the successful inauguration of the session, highlighting the important role of the Secretariat in supporting parliamentary work and enhancing performance ac
ross various sectors.
On his part, Al Buainain expressed his appreciation to the Speaker for his continued support and reiterated the Secretariat’s commitment to advancing its services in support of parliamentary work.
