Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh praised the lofty approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing the royal directors to protect Islamic values and safeguard national fundamentals.
He lauded HM the King’s directives to adopt the principles enshrined in the National Action Charter and the Constitution as solid foundations for formulating educational curricula and bringing up generations in different educational levels.
“The Kingdom of Bahrain has been known throughout history for its adherence to Islam, adopting it as a belief, a shining approach, and a tolerant law”, he said.
He commended the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for upholding lofty Islamic ideals in educational curricula.
He commended HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s order to the Minister of Education to immediately halt any changes made to the Kingdom’s educational curricula that are not compatible with Bahrain’s national values designed to protect religion and its core pillars and ensure educational curricula adhere to Islamic teachings, in line with the National Action Charter and the Constitution.
Al Saleh commended the scholars’ role in preaching, instilling the principles of Islam, and promoting the values of loyalty and national belonging.
He reiterated the commitment of the legislative branch of government to supporting all that upholds core national pillars and preserves the Islamic faith.
