Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh met with Tolerance and Religious Coexistence (Ta’ayush) Chairman Yousef Mohammed Bozboun who presented him with a copy of (In the Hospitality of the King of Peace).
The book documents the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis and His Eminence Sheikh Al Azhar Al Sharif to Bahrain in November last year.
The Shura chairman affirmed that efforts in spreading the principles of peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance contribute to world peace, in line with the comprehensive development process of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to promote peace and religious dialogue.
He highlighted the efforts of civil society organizations in implementing coexistence, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al Saleh praised the association’s programs and projects aimed at spreading coexistence, respect and religious tolerance in the Kingdom throughout history.
Bozboun thanked Al Saleh for his support and praised the council’s efforts in spreading peaceful coexistence.
He highlighted the Kingdom’s prominent role in regional and international parliamentary forums.
