Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, today sent two cables of congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Royal Endurance Team Captain, and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President and KHK Team Captain, on the successful participation of their children in their first external endurance event through the 20 kilometre-long race which was held in Monpazier in France.
Al-Saleh expressed pride in the distinguished performance of the children of HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid in the race, which, he said, is the outcome of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s constant support for the endurance sport in Bahrain.
He affirmed that the participation of young riders in the international race reflects the keenness of HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid to promote the endurance sport, and ensure that it achieves more successes.
