Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday, protected by the Israeli occupation police.

According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups from Mughrabi Gate, and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.

Large groups of settlers also roamed the alleys of the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, performing Talmudic rituals at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, specifically at Al-Silsilah and Al-Qattanin Gates.

The occupation authorities, coinciding with the second day of the Jewish Sukkot, imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinians coming from Jerusalem and the 1948 territories, checked their identities and detained some of them.

On Sunday, 880 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa in successive groups from Mughrabi Gate side and performed Talmudic rituals.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily violations and incursions by settlers, except for Friday and Saturday, in an attempt to impose full control over the holy mosque and divide it temporally and spatially.
