Settlers Renew Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Settlers renewed their storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, under strict protection of the Israeli occupation police.

Dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, carried out provocative tours, listened to explanations about the alleged "temple", and performed Talmudic rituals in the Bab Al-Rahma area, east of the mosque, Palestine News Agency (WAFA) reported.

The occupation police continued to impose restrictions on the entry of Palestinians coming from Jerusalem and the occupied interior to the blessed mosque, and checked their IDs, and detained some of them at its external gates.

Meanwhile, Palestinian calls for mobilization at Al-Aqsa Mosque were launched to thwart settler plans to carry out the largest incursion on the anniversary of the so-called "Jerusalem Day", on May 18.

The so-called "Temple Organizations" are planning to carry out large-scale incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the anniversary of the occupation of Jerusalem, in addition to the "flag march" in the Old City of Jerusalem.

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinians in separate areas in the occupied West Bank, while armed clashes erupted in the governorates of Nablus and Jenin witnessed.

Local sources said that the occupation forces sent military reinforcements to the Old City of Nablus, and an explosion was heard in the vicinity of the Old City, while clashes broke out with the occupation forces that stormed the Al-Masaken neighborhood in Nablus.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Al-Yamoun in Jenin and surrounded a house in the town.

The Israeli occupation forces continue, on an almost daily basis, their violations against the Palestinians, by storming their towns and cities, and attacking them, their lands and properties, using bullets and tear gas, which often leads to the death and injury of dozens of civilians.
