Rescue Teams Recover 20 Bodies in Karachi Drowning Incidents

Karachi, July 31 (QNA) – Rescue teams recovered bodies of 20 people drowned in two separate incidents on the beaches of Karachi, according to reports Thursday.

Twelve bodies were recovered from Clifton Beach on Wednesday night and six more bodies were recovered after 6 am this morning. Two bodies were also recovered from Hawks Bay today.

The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).

Rescue efforts were under way to recover three missing bodies out of a total of 23 people who had drowned, Dawn news reported.

Navy helicopters were also being used in the rescue operation. (QNA)
