Qatar Stock Exchange index rose 58.43 points, or 0.54%, at the beginning of Sunday’s trading, to reach the level of 10953 points, compared to Thursday’s closing session.
The index was supported by a rise in the industrials sector by 0.85%, the banks and financial services sector by 0.70%, the telecoms sector by 0.21%, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.18%, and the real estate sector by 0.15%. On the other hand, the index recorded a decline in the transportation sector by 0.54%, and the insurance sector by 0.67%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2915 transactions worth QR 102.047 million, distributed to 50760 million shares.
