Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index rose at the beginning of today's trading by 2.46 points, about 0.02 percent, to reach 10,388.97 points, compared to yesterday's closing.
The consumer goods and services sectors rose by 0.10 percent, and industrials surged by 0.09 percent.
In contrast, the telecoms sector declined by 0.63 percent, insurance dropped 0.62 percent, transportation lost 0.12 percent, real estate declined 0.07 percent, and banks and financial services decreased by 0.01 percent.
At 10:00 am, QSE recorded transactions worth QR 59,039,435,346, distributed to 21,952,988 shares via 2,281 transactions.
