Qatar’s Rawad Al Nasser Advances to Quarter-finals of Qatar’s WTT Youth Contender Doha

Doha, October 10 - Qatar's Rawad Al Nasser advanced to the quarter-finals of the WTT Youth Contender Doha, after defeating Egypt's Mohamed Abdel Halim 3-1 (13-11, 11- 5, 7-11, 11-8), in the U-15 competitions, at the Aspire Academy on Tuesday.

Al Nasser bagged three points to finish second in Group E behind Chinese Sun Weiying.

On Wednesday, Al Nasser will face South Korean Kwon Hyuk, in a high-octane game.

The tournament that brings together 96 players from 21 countries will run through Oct. 14.
