Brussels, October 24 (QNA) -Qatar’s Ambassador to the European Union HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani has presented his credentials to the European Council when the President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy met him here today.
HE Ambassador Sheikh Ali bin Jassim conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the President of the European Council .
From his part, the President of the European Council asked HE the Ambassador to convey his greetings and appreciation to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent and his wishes for them of health and happiness and to the people of Qatar further progress and success.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on issues of common interest, besides the Qatari-European relations and ways of boosting them.(QNA)
