Doha, October 02 (QNA) – Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Tuesday, adding 13.13 points (or 0.15%) to advance to 8,535.81 points from 8,522.68 Monday.
The volume of the shares traded up to 3,752,386 from 4,765,343 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR159,747,452.50 from QR123,463,513.61 Monday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar Islamic Bank which was up 0.52% to QR77.40, Barwa Real Estate rose 0.84% to QR29.90, International Islamic Bank gained 0.39% to QR52.10 and Electricity and Water up by 0.37% to QR134.50.
The Banking and Financial sector index lost 2.06 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 1.74 points. The industrial sector gained 1.22 points while insurance sector dropped 7.86 points.(QNA)
