Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) for a variety of postal services.
The agreement was signed by Qatar Post's chief financial officer Mohamed Jabr al-Naemi and Qatar Rail's Corporate Support chief Khalifa Hassan al-Jehani.
The MoU was signed at the General Post Office by Mohammed Jabr al-Naemi, Chief Financial Officer at Qatar Post, and Khalifa Hassan Mubarak al-Jahni, Chief Institutional Support Officer at Qatar Rail. By the terms of the agreement, Qatar Post will provide Qatar Rail with its Global Priority Service to deliver all postal materials inside and outside the State of Qatar in the shortest time possible, in addition to its VIP services.
Qatar Post will also provide all postal and mail services to Qatar Rail in order to facilitate and expedite the transport of consignments and shipments, which is part of its important efforts at integrating national companies in order to strengthen the Qatari economy in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Qatar Post's Global Priority Service safely and securely delivers flats, letters and parcels to more than 220 countries worldwide within one to three days, making it the fastest delivery option.
