The State of Qatar participated in the consultative meeting of the Committee of the Ministers of Health of the GCC countries, which was held in Al Ula Governorate in Saudi Arabia today.
The State of Qatar's delegation to the meeting was headed by HE Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari.
The meeting tackled a number of issues related to strengthening joint GCC action in the health field, in addition to discussing health and humanitarian developments and conditions caused by the current crisis in Sudan.
The meeting also reviewed topics of epidemic prevention, preparedness and response, and antimicrobial resistance.
