The State of Qatar participated in the 12th Arab-German Energy Forum, held in Berlin, Germany.
The delegation of the Sate of Qatar at the Forum was headed by HE the Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Climate Change and Sustainability Ambassador Bader Omar Ismail Al Dafa, and HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Germany Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Thani.
In an address before the Forum, HE the Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Climate Change and Sustainability stressed that the attention paid by the State of Qatar to combating climate change and preserving the environment stems from its National Vision 2030.
His Excellency highlighted Qatar’s efforts and plans for climate neutrality and energy transformation, and invited the Forum participants to visit the Horticultural Doha Expo 2023, which will be held in October next year under the slogan “Green Desert, Better Environment”.
