HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Abdullah Al-Thani met with HE Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Area Wamkele Mene, within the framework of the third edition of the Qatar Economic Forum which began today and will continue until May 25.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the State of Qatar and the African Continental Free Trade Zone and means of supporting and developing it, in addition to exchanging views on the topics on the forum's agenda.
His Excellency highlighted Qatar's economic policies that proved successful in supporting the private sector, reviewing incentives, legislations, and opportunities available in the country that aim to encourage investors, businessmen, and owners of companies to invest in Qatar. (QNA)
