Qatar Charity’s charity kitchen distributes daily Iftar meals

Qatar Charity (QC), as part of its ‘Ramadan of Hope’ drive, continue to implement its ‘Charity Kitchen’ initiative by distributing ready-to-eat Iftar meals to families with limited income. The initiative benefits 500 people daily during the holy month of Ramadan.

Licensed by the competent authorities, a well-equipped home kitchen with skilled chefs has been contracted. The food stuffs are delivered to the home kitchen to prepare Iftar meals daily for 100 families.

Qatar Charity receives all the types of the food stuff from donors at the Al Ahly Sporting Club, and the meals are prepared by the home kitchen. The ready-to-eat meals are daily delivered to the homes of the beneficiaries throughout the holy month.

Qatar Charity takes advantage of volunteers to distribute the meals in various areas of Doha. The volunteers receive the meals from the kitchen and deliver them to the beneficiary families on time, in a manner that respects their privacy and preserves their dignity.

The initiative has received a good response from the community, organizations, citizens, and residents. Raw'a company donated in-kind materials, while other companies have also contributed to the initiative.

Qatar Charity has appreciated the donation of philanthropists for Qatar Charity’s Ramadan campaign, urging them to extend further support and donate for the ‘Charity Kitchen’ initiative to maximize the number of beneficiaries.
