Qatar Charity (QC) has placed a football-shaped donation box named “One Goal for Humanity”, at the Place Vendôme Mall, to enable benefactors to donate easily and allow the local community and visitors to do good and help those in need.
The initiative is part of Qatar Charity’s continuous efforts to provide the best services to donors and philanthropists, allowing them to do good easily where they are.
Qatar Charity, through this donation box, which was installed in the mall in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, will continue to receive cash donations to support its various relief and development projects and campaigns, including the current winter drive, until the end of March 2023.
Mr. Ali Ibrahem AlGreeb, Director of the Resource Development department at Qatar Charity, thanked the Place Vendôme Mall management for allowing Qatar Charity to place the donation box in the mall.
AlGreeb urged the community members and visitors to support Qatar Charity’s projects by making their contribution through this donation box to maximize the number of beneficiaries worldwide. He called on all companies and commercial bodies in the country to cooperate with Qatar Charity in the field of charitable and humanitarian work and to participate in its various community activities.
Mr. Shane Eldstrom, Chief Executive Officer at United Developers, expressed his pride in the mall’s participation in humanitarian work through Qatar Charity, as part of its social responsibility towards the local community and vulnerable communities around the world, noting that the mall looks forward to continuing cooperating with Qatar Charity by providing spaces for carrying out community activities, holding charitable events in the future, and allowing the installation of fixed donation boxes at the various locations within the mall.
It is worth mentioning that QC has 135 branches and collection points across Qatar, which are in hospitals, commercial centers, and markets, to receive donations from benefactors, in addition to 2089 fixed donation boxes and 35 donation kiosks across the country.
