In a poignant speech reflecting on recent events, Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, on Monday mourned the loss of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, describing him as a beloved leader and father figure who championed the cause of freedom and the rights of the Palestinian people.

Qassem expressed his deep sorrow, stating, “We have lost a dear brother and a leader who loved the fighters and found comfort in them.” He emphasized the significant emotional connection Nasrallah had with the families of martyrs, the wounded, and prisoners.

Qassem reassured Hezbollah’s fighters that Nasrallah’s spirit and legacy would continue to guide their efforts.

‘O fighters, you are the awaited ones. Know that his Eminence is always with us,’ he stated.

Moreover, Qassem dismissed claims of a high-level meeting involving Nasrallah, reiterating that such assertions from the “Israeli” enemy are unfounded.

Addressing the ongoing violence, Qassem condemned the “Israeli” attacks on civilians across Lebanon, includin
g vulnerable populations such as children and the elderly.

Qassem further asserted that Hezbollah would persist in its objectives, guided by the plans laid out by Nasrallah, and emphasized the organization’s readiness for ground confrontation.

“We will continue the battle according to the drawn plans,” Qassem stated, underscoring Hezbollah’s determination to confront the “Israeli” enemy in support of Palestine and defense of Lebanon. He reassured the public that despite leadership losses, Hezbollah’s military capabilities remain intact, stating, “Israel has not been able to strike our military capabilities, and that is a dream they have not and will not achieve.”

Qassem concluded with a call for patience and unity, expressing confidence in the resilience of the Lebanese people and their collective sacrifices, promising, “Victory is our ally, and we need a bit of patience.”
