The Public Prosecution launched yesterday morning the first phase of developing their online portal, providing 45 e-services to individuals, law firms and companies, with 12 new services added.
Some of the services include inquiring about the court hearings schedule, power of attorney registration, completion of requirements to obtain a service, requests to photocopy cases, e-payment, SMS service, e-linking with Hukoomi Portal, checking notices of individuals or legal representatives and finding out information about a notice, its status and relevant rulings. All these services are available 24 hours.
Maryam Hajji Abdullah, Director of the Information Systems Department at the Public Prosecution, said: The Information Systems Department has developed the e-services platform of the Public Prosecution with the aim of providing e-services to all the relevant parties in order to follow up with the cases and notices easily and conveniently, in line with the directives of the wise leadership towards developing the judicial system and enhancing its capabilities to cope with the rapid developments in all aspects of the society.
