WAM ABU DHABI, 16th January, 2014 (WAM) — The Committee tasked with implementing the initiatives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has awarded a package of development projects in various emirates at a cost of AED 229 million.
The projects include the construction of dams and roads, extension and installation of power lines, and the supply of medical equipment.
This came in implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to create developmental and infrastructure projects in various parts of the country to cope with its economic, social and urban boom, along with securing facilities and projects contributing to raising the economic level of the citizenry and facilitate their daily lives.
During its meeting under the chairmanship of Ahmed Juma Al Za’abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Committee, the committee viewed reports and details of the workflow on some of the projects carried out by the Committee in different emirates.
They also discussed other topics on the agenda of the meeting with the appropriate decisions taken in accordance with the directives of the leadership in order to achieve a decent living for citizens and more progress and prosperity for the nation.
The committee meeting was attended by Mohamed Abdullah Al Romaithi, Jabr Mohamed Al Suwaidi, Mohamed Mohamed Saleh, Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi, Hassan Al Mansouri, Mohamed Eissa Mohamed and Ali Dhamnai.
