HE President of the sisterly Republic of Iraq Abdul Latif Rashid received HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Iraq Khalid bin Hamad Al Sulaiti at Al Salam Palace.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the efforts exerted to opt for the language of dialogue in addressing the issues and challenges facing the region.
During the meeting, His Excellency underscored the depth of the Qatari-Iraqi relations and the importance of promoting them in the areas of common interest for the service of the joint interests of the two brotherly peoples.
He wished every success to the State of Qatar in organizing FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and said that organizing the tournament is a great success for the State of Qatar and all Arabs, and will positively reflect on the global level.
