Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Political Affairs Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al Rassi, Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral International Affairs.
The undersecretary praised the wise diplomatic stances of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud with the support of Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, citing their leading initiatives in combating terrorism and extremism, as well as in settling regional and global conflicts by peaceful means, in addition to their contributions to the consolidation of regional and global security, peace and stability.
He expressed Bahrain's pride in its fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia, and its appreciation for the latter's role in strengthening GCC, Arab and Islamic countries' relations.
He also praised Saudi Arabia's support for the joint GCC and Arab action, in addition to its active presidency of the Islamic Summit and the Executive Committee of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as well as its continuous support for the efforts of the United Nations.
Dr. Al Rassi welcomed the Political Affairs Undersecretary and wished Bahrain and its people further success and prosperity.
