Pakistani TV Journalist Injured in Gun Attack

Islamabad, April 19 (QNA) – Senior Pakistani television journalist
Hamid Mir was injured in a targeted-shooting in Karachi on Saturday
evening.

His car was attacked by assailants travelling in a car and two
motorbikes, The attackers then followed him for 6-7 km while shooting
at his car, Geo News reported.
Mir was on his way to his office from the airport when he was
attacked.
Karachi police chief Shahid Hayat said Mir suffered three gunshot
wounds to the stomach and the upper legs. Mir was taken to a hospital
for emergency treatment. (QNA)
