Omani, Chinese FMs Discuss Developments in Gaza Strip

Muscat, The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi discussed in a phone call Wednesday with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, the danger of the continued military escalation, the catastrophic humanitarian situation, developments in the Gaza Strip and its environs, the continuation of Israeli aggressive military operations against defenseless civilians, and the importance of the international community assuming its responsibilities in this regard in application of international law and international humanitarian law.

The two ministers stressed the justice of the Palestinian cause, the necessity of lifting the unjust Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip, and establishing a humanitarian truce to provide the relief needs of the residents of the Strip. They stressed the necessity of achieving the two-state solution to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
