Oman FM Meets U.S. Officials

Washington, June 19 (QNA) – Oman’s Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah met Thursday in Washington with Anne Patterson, U.S assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs as part of his ongoing official visit to the United States.

The meeting reviewed the latest developments on the Arab front in general and GCC in particular, Oman’s official news agency ONA reported.

Bin Alawi met as well with U.S special envoy for Palestinian-Israeli negotiations Martin Indyk. The two officials discussed mechanisms of enhancing peace plans between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.

The Omani minister is set to meet U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday. (QNA)
