Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, received Khaled El Mekwad,the UN Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
The minister praised UN agencies' role in achieving the sustainable development goals through their international coordination efforts around the world.
He stressed Bahrain’s keenness to align development plans and programmes with sustainable development goals.
El Mekwad commended the Kingdom's achievements in various fields, wishing Bahrain continued success.
