OIC Condemns Continued Israeli Massacre in Gaza’s Jabalia Camp

Jeddah, November 01 - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Wednesday condemned the ongoing acts of killing, destruction and displacement committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian civilians, the most recent of which was the heinous massacre that took place in Al Faluga area in Jabalia camp for the second time within 24 hours, in addition to the barbaric bombing of a bakery in Gaza City, which led to the fall of dozens of martyrs and wounded, the majority of whom were children and women in a new episode of the ongoing Israeli war crimes that randomly and deliberately target all the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip.

In a statement today, OIC warned of the danger of targeting hospitals in the Gaza Strip, whether by bombing or depriving from fuel to operate generators in the few hospitals that are still operating in the Gaza Strip, which portends an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and constitutes the crime of genocide.

The OIC renewed its urgent call upon the international community to intervene immediately to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe by providing the supplies necessary for operating hospitals in Gaza, and pressuring the Israeli occupation to stop its military aggression and ensuring the delivery of basic needs and urgent relief the Strip.

Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and others were injured as a result of a violent Israeli bombardment that targeted a residential square in the Al Faluga area in the Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza Strip, in what appears to be a new massacre committed by the Israeli occupation, less than 24 hours after the massacre it committed in the same camp on Tuesday killing and injuring hundreds.
