The fourth phase of the fiesta will be organized on Friday 8th of November and the final round will be held on Saturday 9th of November for those who are finalists.
As part of the ongoing 'Asian School Fiesta' organized by Qatar Charity under the supervision of its community development for expatriate Asian communities , Friends Cultural Center (FCC), nearly 1000 students from dozens of Asian schools in Qatar took part in different contests held on the third day of the fiesta.
The participants from more than 30 Asian schools in Qatar who belong to Indian, Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Filipino, Indonesian, Malaysian and Sri Lankan communities living in the country exhibited their talents in a competitive environment and a culturally interactive atmosphere of the event.
The students categorized into groups of Kids-2, Sub Junior, Junior, and Senior, participated in various types of competitions including oppana elocution ,kathaprsangam , group song, declamation , monocot and mime.
Around 1500 students participated in the contests held on the second day of the fiesta, while more than 500 students took part in the competitions of the first day on October 18, 2019.
The fourth phase of the fiesta will be organized on Friday 8th of November and the final round will be held on Saturday 9th of November for those who are finalists. Approximately 125 students are expected to give a tough competition to each other in poem recitation, news reading, elocution, action song, and storytelling on November 9, 2019.
It is worth mentioning that Qatar Charity has been organizing the Asian school Fiesta for students from expatriate Asian communities in Qatar since 2009.
The fiesta provides a platform for students to exhibit their hibernating talents and capabilities, recuperate their creative and artistic skills, and establish a good relationship between the members of the Asian communities in Qatar.
