N. Korea Fires Short-Range Missiles

Seoul, September 06 (QNA) – North Korea fired three short-range missiles into the East Sea on Saturday morning, Korean News Agency (Yonhap) reported.

The projectiles flew about 130 miles from Wonsan on North Korea’s east coast, landing harmlessly into the sea between North Korea and Japan, said officials at the Joint Chiefs of staff of South Korea.

While the military is analyzing what type of missile the North launched and what lies behind its test-firing, the officer said that it is presumed to be a new type of tactical missile. (QNA)
